Medior / Senior cloud consultant

Your role

Are you passionate about technology, multi-cloud deployments and strategically advising clients? Have you built solid experience as an engineer and are you ready for a role where you go deep on the technical side while also bridging the gap to the business? Then you might be the Cloud Consultant we are looking for!

As a Medior/Senior Cloud Consultant at Droppar you are not only responsible for the technical side but also act as a trusted advisor to our clients. You understand complex architectures and translate business requirements into scalable, secure and efficient cloud solutions.

• You design, implement, manage and optimise complex (multi-)cloud environments for our clients
• You advise clients on cloud migrations, cost optimisation (FinOps), security and architecture decisions
• You work on the automation of infrastructure and deployment processes (DevOps/GitOps), both internally and externally
• You actively share your knowledge during internal knowledge sessions and help elevate the cloud practice at Droppar to the next level

Who are you?

• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure or consultancy
• Cloud Expertise: Solid knowledge of and hands-on experience with at least two major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure). You know how to leverage the strengths of each platform in a multi-cloud landscape
• Consultancy Skills: Strong communication skills. You can act as a sparring partner at senior level, deliver presentations and explain complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.
• Technical Background: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform), CI/CD pipelines and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of network management, security and databases is a must

• Education: Bachelor or Master degree in IT (or equivalent through experience), preferably complemented with relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, OCI)
• Mindset: A proactive and analytical attitude with strong problem-solving skills. You take the lead in projects and enjoy coaching junior colleagues
